Career College Job Openings April 2011

As always, the positions listed are all active positions. All positions require hands on experience in a for profit career college environment. Individuals without this experience will not be qualified in our client's viewpoint. 

Limited information is provided here, but all of the information you would need to make an intelligent decision regarding whether or not to pursue an opportunity will be provided in a telephone call once a mutual interest is established and a WORD resume is received. Admissions:
1.  Senior DOA (Director of Admissions) in Akron, OH, Findlay, OH, Tulsa, OK, San Antonio, TX and Merrillville, IN.  
2.  DOAs in South Bend, IN, OH and KY. These positions require a solid background as a DOA and a degree.

3.  DOA in NJ. This individual must have 3-4 years of experience as an admissions  director. A degree is not required. This position is highly confidential.  

·        Financial Aid/Finance:
1.  DFA (Director Financial Aid) for their school in Findlay, OH and Indianapolis, IN. This position requires a degree and DFA experience. 

·        School Presidents/ Directors:
1.   School Director for a non-confidential opening in Hileah, FL. This position requires large school experience (over 700), a degree, experience at a publicly traded company and a stable work history. 
2.  School Director for a confidential opening in FL. Location has not yet been disclosed. The same credentials as above apply. 
3.  Campus President in Charleston, SC. This person must have a solid background as a school director and a degree.

5.  Small school directors in the SE. Candidates must have experience managing a reputable, for-profit school as well as a degree. An advanced degree is preferred. 
6.   Campus Presidents in Kansas City, KS and Southbend, IN. All candidates must have a strong background as a school director and a degree. Some of these schools are start ups. An advance degree is a plus. 
7.  School in WV, is looking for a top notch school president with preferably a PhD. or at least a master’s degree. Solid school operations experience is their number one priority. Candidates must also have experience in an HLC accreditated school or at least 10 years of experience bringing a school through regional accreditation. The current student body on campus is 300 and the on-line student population is 700. This is a degree granting institution with a beautiful collegiate setting. 
8.  Small school director in Tempe. AZ. This individual must be a successful DOA or school director. Limited relocation assistance is available due to the size of the school. This is a perfect growth opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career. A minimum of a BA/BS is required as well as a stable work history.

Director of Education, and all other Education Positions:
1. DOEs/Deans in several FL locations. Exact locations are yet to be disclosed. Candidates must have some flexibility in location. A master’s is required as well as experience at a school of over 700 students. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. 
2. OTA Instructors and Field Coordinators in Tulsa, OK, Tucson, AZ, Quad Cities, IA and Greenville, SC. The instructors must have OTA teaching experience and clinical experience. The OTA field coordinators must have a background as an OTA and be qualified to set up externships for students. 
3.  Academic Affairs Director in Philadelphia, PA. This person will be responsible for running all academic departments, overseeing faculty and program/curriculum development. A master’s is preferred, an undergraduate degree is required.

·        Corporate/ Executive Positions:
1.  Regional Student Finance Manager. This person is responsible for overseeing all non-title four funding and ensuring compliance with accreditation. An aptitude in accounting is preferred as well as a bachelor’s degree. This position is located in Cincinnati, OH. 
2.  Regional Vice President of Admissions to be based out of Phoenix, AZ. This position will involve heavy travel throughout a region. Candidates must have multi-site admissions management experience as well as a degree.
3.  School near Clarksburg WVA is looking for a VP of Finance and Compliance. This individual must be a top notch professional with a strong background in title four, accreditation, compliance, etc. The VP would handle all title four, compliance and accreditation for on-line and ground. Experience in both is beneficial. B.A. is required and an M.A. is preferred. Great compensation.

Career College President / School Director Jacksonville FL

We are in immediate need of a School President for a growing career college in Northeastern Florida, Jacksonville.  The requirements are:

1. Four or more years experience as a trade school school director in a medium sized career college offering technical programs (preferred).

2. Four year degree required at a minimum.

3. A verifiable record of accomplishment as a career school director or president.

4. A history of good job stability.

5. Attractive Northern Florida location. (Jacksonville FL)

Relocation is assisted and compensation is open for discussion.  This is a smaller to medium sized career college.

Career College President & COO Multi Site Operation (2 Positions)

A newly acquired client company with its main campus in San Diego (position is based here) and branches in Chicago and New York is seeking a well seasoned, multi-site executive to become Chief Operating Officer (COO). They have 1,200 ctudents between the 3 campuses and offer massage as well as other medical specialties, such as acupuncture, at the associate, baccalaureate, masters and Doctoral levels. They want a well seasoned, multisite executive based in SanDiego to be COO. A masters is preferred and salary is open. Admissions expertise is another prerequisite to facilitate growth.

They also need a school president/director for Chicago where they have 200 students at the moment but big plans for growth. Again a seasoned veteran is desired, a masters is preferred. They will relocate, although a local candidate would have an advantage.
