3 New Openings in North East Florida - DOE, DFA, DCS Academic Department Head

3 New positions located in NE Florida within a smaller career college poised for growth.

Please remember that all inquires for these positions (Director of Education and all other Education positions) will be held in strictest confidence. During the phone conversation, qualified candidates will have all of the information they will need to be able to make an intelligent decision regarding any one of these positions. 1. DOE - (Director of Education)  The for-profit, career school has about 240 students with plans to grow to 300. The qualified candidate must have experience in a for-profit career college.  A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required. Salary is open depending upon experience. Because it is a small school, they would even take an experienced Academic Dept. Head who knows the DOE duties after helping the DOE. Limited relo assistance if necessary, but local candidates are preferred.


2. DFA - One report. Salary open. Degree not required. They use a 3rd party servicer. Again, limited relo. assistance, but local candidates will get preference.


3. DCS - Salary open, no degree, limited relo. local preferred.

Director of Education, DOEs Needed Nationwide

Director of Education, and all other Education Positions:

1. DOE (Director of Education) needed in Wheaton, MD. This position requires a degree and experience as a DOE in a medium sized career college.  

2. DOE for a well established career college in Daytona, FL.  A four year college degree is required, an advanced degree would be a plus. Technical school background preferred.

3. Occupation Therapy Program Directors are needed in Greenville, SC, South Bend, IN, St. Louis, MO and Albuquerque, NM.

4. An Instructor for a Physical Therapy Assistant program in Fort Wayne, IN is needed.  All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. A masters is preferred.   5 years in the P.T. profession is also needed as well as PT/PTA licensure and 0-2 years as an instructor/educator and a member in a professional organization.

5. A Surgical Technical Department head is needed in Greenville, SC and St. Louis, MO.

6. PN administrator is needed in Greenville, SC and Albuquerque, NM. This individual must have experience running a PN program for a proprietary career college as well as be a licensed RN and have a strong background in teaching and education.

7. Several Directors of Education (DOEs) are needed in Cincinnati, OH, San Antonio, TX, Atlanta, GA, Hopkinsville, KY, Louisville, KY, Miami, FL and Boise, ID.

8. Like the warm weather?  An associate DOE is needed in Miami at our client's southern location. This position requires some dean, DOE experience in a career college and a degree.

9. Surg Tech Department Head is needed along with a  BA degree related to it. At Baltimore, MD Medix School. CST certification. Relocation available.

10. A for profit career college in Ontario, Canada has a need for a REGIONAL DOE with experience in associate’s degree level programs. They offer business, IT and allied health. A background in any or all of those fields is very helpful. This position requires strong multi-site experience in career education. The regional DOE would supervise all DOEs at four campuses in the Toronto area. A master’s degree or PhD or EdD is preferred.  USA citizens considered as well.

11. Solid DOE is needed in the Jacksonville, FL area.  All candidates must have a degree. A master’s is a plus. Experience with a school of about 500-1,000 students is needed.


· Director of Student Services and Career Services:

1. Director of Career Services in Boise, ID. This individual should have a degree and experience in placement or career services with a career college. Management experience is preferred.


2. Career College in Queens, NY is looking for a placement advisor/counselor. This position does not require management experience. An individual with a background in placement is preferred. The placement counselor will spend a lot of time cold calling companies to find positions for students.

The company needs 8 years of solid DOE experience, a masters degree and solid track record of experience and stability in 500-1,000 student schools, preferably part of medium to large sized mainstream companies. The salary is open for discussion.

MUST HAVE SEVERAL YEARS OF FOR PROFIT CAREER COLLEGE EXPERIENCE.

The same company needs a DOE in Coastal Virginia. Again, a masters degree and track record of stability and success in a mainstream, major league environment.
